The only positive I can find is that the graphics look nice. Except that it takes all what was executed well in Burnout, throws it away and delivers total utter garbage. I WANTED to like it, because i love driving games, cop 'n robbers type action and on top of that it's made by Criterion. The soundtrack has dull and slow paced song with didn't the game's atmosphere with only a few good songs. Although I found one thing a bit annoying was the soundtrack. I like how Criterion has used Burnout's takedown mechanic to take down cops and racers I felt that fitted quiet well, I also liked use of technology that the police has was used in the game.
There a lots of game elements that made this game great like the graphics, the tracks and new and fun ways to take down cops. Criterion Games delivers us one of the best Need for Speed games ever with bringing the series by bringing back the roots of Hot Pursuit. And one thing like about Need for Speed is fast cars and high speed pursuits and racing and Hot Pursuit deliver its all.
