Terryville, Conn." Inside case is purple velvet that appears to have turned green throughout from tarnish? Check out my other items ! *This item will be well-packed & insured at a flat rate charge that includes cost of box for this size($3-$4), insurance, & any special packing materials if needed for secure arrival. The lock (no key) is stamped "Eagle Lock Co. The case is rough in & out, but solid wood & the metal trim & hardware is all good working-closes tight. Most surface wear is where the hands hold the slide piece & it looks like brass underneath the silver. The mouthpiece is thick & heavy in good condition with no name or maker mark. All parts & slides work properly & smooth that I can tell. There is a partial paper label from store or such inside case that reads "phone 21" -YA.that was a while ago ! ! I'm sure someone who knows these instruments can give me a heads up & I will post any info given on this. The numbers on the slide pieces are stamped 7754 & the numbers on rounded end of bell unit are 175 (see pics) I believe this to be circa 1920's & am not sure if it is before or after Conn or Buescher. Not too bad of condition for its age with only small dings & dents throughout, but no major issues that I can see. The only thing I have done is clean outer surface with a professional metal-glo cleaner/polisher to remove tarnish & oxidization to determine that it is silver. This trombone is being sold as found in attic of recently purchased old house in the midwest. thus came the MODELS page and the rest of this website.Elkhart - IND. From that little project I then found myself wanting to find OTHER ways to identify specific Buescher models and years. I'm STILL finding Bell Engravings I didn't know existed.

So my little project of finding (what I thought would be) a dozen bell engravings turned out to be a massive undertaking. little did I realize that Buescher produced MANY models in any given year and some of them had Different Bell Engravings. I started gathering pictures of Buescher bell engravings so I could better identify the YEAR of the horn. I was first introduced to Buescher Horns in 2011 and I quickly noticed how beautifully their Bell Engravings were. The idea for THIS page is really what started me on my journey to create this site. I will also give a brief description of the trumpet coloring and styling in each era. I have NO CLUE if these Logos already have names associated with them, so if you disagree with what I have named them, please feel free to give me the appropriate name(s). This page is a run down of those Bell Logos and the names I have given them. In an effort to more easily recognize what era a Buescher trumpet is from, I decided to start tracking what the "bell logo" looked like on horns of all eras.
